When can I recycle?

Residential:
Recycling pickup is bi-weekly on your trash day. To determine the pickup day for your area see the map below. If you have any questions, please call us at (828) 252-2532 and ask for the operator.
Moving?
The recycling bins are Curbside’s property. Please leave them at your home if you move. Thank you.

How to Prepare Recyclables

Please help make recycling happen by preparing your recyclable materials as requested.  What can be recycled and how these materials have to be prepared is determined by the businesses that make products from recycled materials.  
Careful preparation and separation of recyclables is important. Manufacturers require clean and contaminant free materials to make new products.  You can help!
REMOVE all caps & recycle (labels my remain on bottles)
RINSE all bottles and cans.
Empty aerosol cans – remove lids. 
FLATTEN plastic jugs and plastic soda bottles. 
BREAK DOWN and FLATTEN all corrugated cardboard.
Place items in the correct bin. See - “What can I recycle?” (left)
SECURE the lid on the blue bin to prevent paper from blowing out.
Set your bins out to the curb by 7:00 A.M. on your recycling day
