What may I recycle in Biltmore Forest?

How to Prepare Recyclables

Please help make recycling happen by preparing your recyclable materials as requested. What can be recycled and how these materials have to be prepared is determined by the businesses that make products from recycled materials.
Careful preparation and separation of recyclables is important. Manufacturers require clean and contaminant free materials to make new products. You can help!
REMOVE all caps & recycle (labels my remain on bottles)
RINSE all bottles and cans.
Empty aerosol cans – remove lids.
FLATTEN plastic jugs and plastic soda bottles.
BREAK DOWN and FLATTEN all corrugated cardboard.
Biltmore Forest provides a voluntary drop off site for recyclables which is conveniently located behind the Town Hall. You may contact the Biltmore Forest Public Works Department for more information at 828-274-3919.
